Passing by a church on one of my walks, I noticed copper flashing under the building's gutters. The patina of the copper was so gorgeous that I decided to paint it. Titled Patina, this painting is my first, and possibly last, done in oil because oil paints take forever to dry. As an artist, I become caught up in whatever it is I'm working on. I paint over things I don't like and keep going, so acrylic paints suit me very well!
