I am a native Floridian and love my state! My family and I take pleasure in spending time near and on the water that surrounds us. One of the activities we enjoy is scalloping with longtime friends near Homosassa, FL. The ride out to the Gulf of Mexico by boat winds down a river with very little development on it. No houses, no condos, nothing but beautiful undeveloped land and marsh. This painting is a reflection of that boat ride and the smile it brings to my face each time we take it.
