One evening after dinner, looking for something safe and different to do during the pandemic, my husband and I went for a walk on the University of Tampa campus. I was again struck by how much I love the minarets that sit atop the main campus building; this was the inspiration for paint Minaret Moment. Having grown up in Tampa, they have always been a part of my memories and our skyline. For my friends who have not been to Tampa, or seen the minarets, this University of Tampa building was originally built by tycoon Henry Plant when he extended the railroad into Tampa.
