In the wake of two devastating hurricanes, my daily walks through the neighborhood were marked by heartbreak—uprooted trees, shattered furniture, and the remnants of people’s lives lining the curbs. It was difficult to see past the wreckage.

 

Then one morning, I chose to seek out a single moment of beauty.

 

That’s when I saw them: a small cluster of bromeliade, resilient and radiant amid the debris. Their color and strength stopped me in my tracks. In that moment, hope took root—and called me to the canvas to create Beauty Beckons. 

 

Already lovingly adopted, this vibrant painting now graces a beautiful home, hanging above a fireplace where it continues to spark joy and reflection.
